Getting started
Do I need to install anything?

No. mnemoptic runs in any modern browser — Mac, Windows, Linux, iPad, Android, ChromeOS. Open the app → For a native feel, install it as a PWA: in Chrome / Edge / Safari click the install icon in the address bar (or Share → Add to Home Screen on iPad). You'll get a real dock icon and a standalone window — no installer.

How long does setup take?

Minutes. On first run, mnemoptic pre-fills your shop name, language, currency and tax rules for your country. Import your existing frames and client lists from Excel and you're ready to ring up the first sale.

Can I migrate from another system?

Yes. mnemoptic accepts CSV / Excel imports for client lists, frames, and lens catalogs. The format is documented and round-trip exports preserve all your data. We'll help with the first migration on Pro and above.

Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?

In the cloud, in your own private space. Each shop's data lives in an isolated section of our database, accessible only to your account. Server-side rules enforce that no other customer can read or write your data, ever — including via direct API access.

Is patient data secure?

Patient data is encrypted at rest and in transit. mnemoptic doesn't sell, share, or look at your customer records. You can export and delete your data on demand. For US opticians we're working toward formal HIPAA-aware contractual language — write to us if you need a BAA.

Does it work offline?

Yes — once you've loaded the app, the shell works without internet. Sales you record sync the next time you're online. License validation gets a 24-hour offline grace window.

How do I move to a new computer?

Just sign in to your account on the new machine — your data and settings are there waiting. No need to contact us.

What if I need more devices?

Upgrade any time — you only pay the prorated difference. See tiers → or talk to us for franchise counts.

Markets, languages & invoices
Which languages does it support?

English, French, and Arabic — switch with one click. Invoices print bilingually for Middle-East shops with Arabic primary and Latin alongside, with Hijri + Gregorian dates.

Is mnemoptic ZATCA-ready for Saudi Arabia?

Phase 1 (a TLV-encoded QR code on every invoice) is built in and live. Phase 2 (real-time clearance via the FATOORA portal and cryptographic stamp) is on the roadmap — talk to us if you need it sooner.

Can it handle multiple stores?

Yes. One account, many stores — each with its own clients, stock and lens catalog, fully isolated. Open a new branch in seconds and get consolidated KPIs across the franchise.

Billing
How does the free trial & refund work?

7-day free trial on every license — try the whole product, cancel anytime. After the trial, 14-day no-questions-asked refund, then prorated refunds for unused periods. Full details on the pricing page.

Card or yearly only?

Billed annually per license via Stripe — card or local payment methods. France and the Gulf are billed in EUR and SAR at local pricing. No per-seat monthly creep.
