We make the optical-shop system we always wished we had — fast, multilingual, and respectful of the people whose eyes you take care of.
mnemoptic started inside a real optical shop. Between fitting frames, reading prescriptions, and chasing insurance claims, the tools never kept up — spreadsheets, a paper ledger, and software written fifteen years ago that nobody enjoyed using.
So we built our own. First for one shop in Morocco, then — once it was good enough that other opticians asked for it — for opticians everywhere. The name is memory + optics: a system that remembers every patient, every prescription, every pair, so you don't have to.
Today mnemoptic runs entirely in the browser. There's nothing to install and nothing to update — open it on the shop's computer, an iPad at the dispensing table, or your phone on the way home. It speaks three languages, prints invoices that are correct for your country's tax rules, and keeps every shop's data sealed off from every other.
We're a small team that ships. When you write to us, a human who knows the product answers — usually the same day. That's the whole promise: serious software for serious shops, without the enterprise weight.
They show up in every screen we ship.
Each shop's records are isolated server-side and encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell, share, or look at your patient data. Export or delete it on demand.
Currency, VAT, ID fields, insurance carriers and language adapt to where you actually work — from Riyadh's ZATCA rules to France's TVA.
A till that hesitates loses sales. Every screen is built to be quick — ⌘K search, keyboard flows, instant undo. Speed is a feature.
An invoice is a legal document. We get the tax, the QR code and the bilingual layout right, so you never have to apologize to an auditor.
No ticket maze. The person who replies knows the product and can fix things. We'd rather have fewer customers we serve well.
Full Excel and JSON export, anytime. If mnemoptic ever stops being the best choice for your shop, your data walks out with you.
